Session data: We use HttpOnly session cookies to maintain your login state. Session cookies contain no personally identifiable information beyond a random session token.

To provide and maintain the SalaryIQ service.
To send email verification and password reset emails.
To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse.
To communicate service updates to registered users (only for material changes).

3. What We Do NOT Do

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We do not track your individual salary searches for advertising or profiling.
We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
We do not collect payment card information directly (if payment processing is enabled, it is handled by a third-party payment processor).

4. Salary Data

SalaryIQ aggregates publicly available salary data from government agencies, salary platforms, recruitment firms, and job boards. This aggregated salary data is not personal information. Individual salary records sourced from public websites are not attributable to any specific person.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your account data is stored on encrypted infrastructure. We use industry-standard security practices including HttpOnly cookies, CSRF protection, rate limiting, bcrypt password hashing, and TLS encryption in transit.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account by contacting hello@salaryiq.xyz. Server logs are retained for operational and security purposes.

7. Third-Party Services

SalaryIQ uses the following third-party services:

SMTP email provider — for sending verification and password reset emails.
Hosting infrastructure — for application hosting and database storage.

These services process data on our behalf under strict contractual obligations.
